Jazz Ambassadors
The Missoula All-City Program is proud of the music and dedication to jazz education. We have developed an All-City Jazz Ambassador program for our more experienced and returning high school members.
Jazz Ambassadors are recommended by their Band Directors as well as All-City Staff and are expected to demonstrate the following:
A Leader in their high school music program
A great ATTITUDE in the group in which you are performing
A positive mentor working with the Middle School Musicians
A dedicated musician committed to improving
Facets of responsibility demonstrated and exemplified in the All-City Program consist of:
Being on time (early!)
Being responsible for your equipment & music
Being prepared for each rehearsal
Letting staff know of absences and/or conflicts in a professional manner
Helping set-up and tear-down rehearsals
Helping with performance logistics (attendance, equipment, programs)
Attend all Middle School rehearsals for which you are assigned
The Missoula All-City Jazz Program chooses its Jazz Ambassadors with discretion. As a result of this special designation all yearly registration fees of Jazz Ambassadors are waived.
